There's a difference between a slow burn and avoiding logical actions just to extend the plot. I'm not asking for everything to be handed to me on a plate. Hell as I've said, the information that Zircon had could have been completely wrong for all I care. I'm just asking for Steven to ask questions and be proactive. If he did more often like a normal human being (in times where it was appropriate), he probably would be in a better position than he is now.

It goes to show how weak your writing skill is if you have to hide information behind a wall of 'let's just not have the character ask questions at times where it would be appropriate'.

It's also prudent to mention that aside from RQ Pearl is the only Gem to use a sword, the supposed murder weapon, the only active CG to have regularly used mundane weapons in the war, and is the only CG who has never shape shifted on camera.
