Does anyone else feel like it's OOC for Steven to leave Lars on Homeworld?
It's not like he has a choice.
A bit, but what was he supposed to do?
Also, Lars becomes Rose 2.0, with inmunity to gem tech!

I dunno, he dies pretty easy to it imo.
He's not leaving Lars on Homeworld, he's going to Earth to coordinate with the gems to figure out a plan of getting Lars back to Earth. But really he should just kill a chicken, cry about it, bring the chicken through Lion, bring Lars through the chicken, and leave the chicken to die.

Not really
Him being with Lars and those gems would only have made things more difficult.
Can't wait for next 15 episodes to be Steven fucking around with townies while the gems fix a ship off-camera and go to homeworld for 2 episodes in the finale
>>92821660
there's two more episodes of this bomb that we won't see until the proper air time. the situation with lars will likely be resolved by then
Steven is too big a target to stay on Homeworld
Lars can help shield the Off Colors from robonoid scans while they help him avoid a real fight
The Diamonds don't know about the connection between Lars and Lion, they don't know that the Crystal Gems now have their own private portal to Homeworld from a planet that is inaccessible by the Galaxy Warp. That's a huge tactical advantage.
The Crystal Gems could stick all of the bubbled gem monsters in Lion's mane and Lars could unleash hell on Homeworld

You really think Steven is that smart
Or that his morals would allow it?
Or that he'd be able to cry while thinking about how the chicken will save lars

>The Crystal Gems could stick all of the bubbled gem monsters in Lion's mane and Lars could unleash hell on Homeworld
>Destroying them with the monsters they created
This doesnt happen enough in shows to satisfy my themeing boner
>>92821726
Putting a pink chicken in a pink lars rips open a hole to the astral plane, sucking everything within a 15 foot radius into it and dealing 158 points of DMG (no saving throw)
>>92821660
Lars sounds like someone who doesn't matter
>>92821720
But Steven can just bring him back to life whenever
>>92824277
Doesn't make him immune to shit.
>>92821660
Steven can always just go back.
>>92821884
no need to kill a chicken he can just go search for one that is already dead
>>92821870
Wouldn't some actual gems come and investigate why the scanned robots are down. Surely they have GPS of their last location before being destroyed
>>92824377
The kindergarden is big enough for them to avoid search parties, especially since they've been hiding there for eons.

Honestly, Lars and the Off-colors are chump change. They still assume he's a normal human and would write off that he starved to death in a week or so and they have no means of track humans beyond sending in personnel, but Lars isn't worth that trouble...
...because they're probably more worried that "Rose" escaped, went to ground and for SOME REASON, she can't be traced. Hell they might be freaking out, expecting her to start a rebellion on Homeworld, and would start jumping at every conceivable shadow, while also desperately trying to let it never get out that this happened.
They now have a bigger problem to deal with. Funnily enough, Steven just bailing from Homeworld was a great tactic since it leaves a non-existent boogeyman in his place.

>Lars becomes Rose 2.0
You mean Lion 2.0 right?
>>92824277
We have no idea whether he can or not.
Lars doesn't have a human heartbeat, seems to need less food than before, and is implied to no longer feel pain. He didn't go back to normal, he's kept alive by an ongoing effect of Gem magic, so adding more Gem magic might not work.
What if pink zombies can't be revived again? What if it's like the dragon balls and you only get one chance? You don't know.
