In light of all the Disney live-action remakes we've been getting, when will we get a Fox and the Hound live-action remake?

That dog's tail looks like a horsecock.

Anon, how you know that?

First post best post.

Hopefully never.

Why, Disney, why?

>not seeing mister hands

You'd know.

Never.
CGI perhaps, but live action movies with animals are difficult to make and are rarely done well. And that's using domesticated animals. You want to make a movie with a wild animal? You're looking at a long shot. Even more so when you add another animal that's literally bred to kill the first. It works well as a story because of that difference, but in real life you won't be able to train a fox, especially not for the level required for filming, and that dog will kill it the first chance it gets.

It'll be a gritty reboot. Fox vs Hound: Dawn of Mange

Are domesticated foxes trainable?

No. You can very occasionally get a fox that will be docile to humans (usually only a few close humans in their "family") and can play around with them, but you can never train them.

>What are you hunting for?
>Foxes.
>Oh cool. Y'know what they look like?
>I'll know 'em once I see 'em!

Just do like Milo and Otis and coldly execute every fox that misbehaves. After 20 dead they'll fall in line.

Russian Domesticated foxes are very likely trainable, but they tend to look a little funny (turns out selecting for domestication traits also tends to get floppy ears, piebald markings, and funny vocalization.)

I assume you are Brazilian to know this?
