Tell me about Big Barda /co/
What are some good stories featuring this titty monster.
>>92750696
The one where she and superman rape eachother.
>>92750708
>rape eachother
??????????????
>>92750708
Like at the same time? How?
Did they take turns?
>>92750738
>>92750770
They both had involuntary sex with eachother.
Its a shame shes a bit cross eyed tho. Guess nobody is perfect
>>92750696
I thought Supes and Barda were holding hands.
I guess "that one time" made them really close to each other.
>>92750775
Hell that was fast. Thank you much!
>>92750738
they both got mind controlled by an alien porn make called sleeze
no I'm not jokeing
>>92750810
Is it it me or does Orion look like a buff Doctor Octopus?
>>92750899
He is the son of Darkseid, after all.
>>92750890
I've always suspected Byrne wrote that story as a stab at Jack Kirby for basing Booster Cogburn on Byrne. Particularly since Barda is based on Roz Kirby.
>>92751158
>>92751158
>>92751182
Damn, what's this from? Captain Victory?
Remember that time Barda repelled a Xenomorph infestation with the help of a bunch of giant green penises?
>>92751263
Destroyer Duck. Honestly, if Gerber and Kirby had spent a whole issue brutally lampooning me by calling me a spineless, dickless, brown-nosing dog, I'd be a little ticked off too. Especially if I deserved it like Byrne.I am a huge John Byrne fan, but the man is the biggest shithead the industry ever produced.
>>92751158
>>92751182
fucking savage
I love barda. it's a crime that 99% of the art of her is shit
>>92751359
So if I've read this right, Byrne fucked the avatar of Kirby's wife because he had been roasted as a spineless corporate mook?
Can we storytime this nerd rage some day please?
>>92750890
BTW, the porno then finds its way to Darkseid who then gives it to Barda's husband to watch. He then tracks down Sleez who had still been forcing his wife and Superman to fuck over the course of at least a day
>>92751918
Well, to be fair, I don't have any proof that was Byrne's intention. But it totally feels like something he'd do.
>>92751158, >>92751182
>Literally a dickless ripoff of a human with no spine who's a corporate shill and has no originality so it just copies the good things that it sees.
Goddamn, that is fucking vicious.
>>92752859
Jack's similar use of Stan Lee as the basis for Funky Flashman feels downright affectionate in comparison.

Here's a recent storytime:

Thanks

The man is exaggerating, Anon. In a John Byrne Action Comics story, an Apokoliptan named Sleez mind controlled Barda into doing "solo" porn videos, then tried to mind control Superman into doing porn with her (because a normal man would be crushed).
However Superman resisted control and Mr. Miracle showed up and saved he day before anything happened.
>>92755121
I thought she blew him.
>>92752859
>>92751918
Byrne puts mind control rape in literally all of his stories, I don't think it was a conscious jab.
>>92757061
I don't think you can make conscious jabs while mind controlled anyway
>>92750696
This seems like a weird sentiment for Superman to have considering he doesn't get any attention when he's Clark.
>>92751158
>Particularly since Barda is based on Roz Kirby
Lainie Kazan too.
>>92757468
Clark Kent isn't his true identity, though. Most supers started out as your average person. Their "secret identity" is a real person, the person they are when they aren't being a super hero. They can take off their mask and just be Bruce Wayne. But for supes, being Clark is a complete fabrication. He can't use his powers and he can't be himself. If he's free to be super man and remain anonymous, he can truly relax and never put on an act.
>>92756920
> Orzechowski lettering
mmmmmm
>>92759072
I swear to god, if you start jacking it to lettering again, /co/...
>>92759101
HE'S SPECIAL TO ME
>>92758906
>But for supes, being Clark is a complete fabrication
Do you have anything backing this up at all? I thought it was bullshit when I heard it in Kill Bill and I think it's bullshit now. The guy was raised on Earth, as Clark Kent. He still considers the Kents to be his family, does he not? You could argue that there's more to him than being Clark, even more so that other heroes being their secret identities, because he has another family and identity from Krypton. But to say Clark Kent, the identity he was raised in and built himself around and has a family, is a complete fabrication? Bullshit. You could make this argument for Supergirl or Power Girl, but Superman? You're going to have to prove it.
>>92758906
Ahh yes the Bill theory. See the problem with the Bill theory is the Bill is a fucking asshat. Of course the guy who fucking killed people cause he was unable to understand a persons want to be normal would look at Superman and see a god rather than a man. Good job being an edgy faggot
>>92759368
Bill was wrong about "Clark Kent" being a critique of humans, how Superman sees us. But the meek and bumbling Kent IS a mask.
>>92759474
When was Charizard ever a hornless triceratops?
>>92759493
>>92759368
As Superman, he is closer to his true self than as Clark Kent, but he also doesn't pretend around his family and friends, so the Clark Kent they know is not the same Clark Kent that the rest of the world sees.
>>92759493
>But the meek and bumbling Kent IS a mask.
Sure, but that doesn't make him a complete fabrication. He's not the only hero to have to hide his powers and such in their secret identity. Peter Parker has been known to do it too.
>>92759516
>As [insert hero identity here], he is closer to his true self than as [insert secret identity here]
You could say the same about practically every superhero.
>>92759590
>You could say the same about practically every superhero.
That's hardly a surprise, considering Superman's THE superhero, and the genre in general takes a lot from him.
>>92759516
as superman he is more conscientious of how his actions and words are gonna be over-analyzed by the public and how the repercussion of that could interfere with justice or gimp human culture. that's no more closer to his 'true self' than any major public figure's professional persona
>>92758906
I'd argue they're both fabrications. You see the real Clark in private with his parents, situations like that, he's the big, confident, gentle guy who's happy to get out of the journalist's suit.
>>92750696
You think King's gonna reference Superman fucking her in his mini?
>>92750775
Is this a joke? She's in one single spread page in the Earth 2 Annual and has no lines. She doesn't show up much in One Million either...
>>92759680
I don't feel like that's the case here.
>>92759474
I want to see more Barda doing cute things
>>92759500
>draw charizard here
>...
>beep...
>"Hello, Linda, put Tommy on. Hi, champ, mind telling me what a charizard is?"
>...
>"Poke who?"

>"A giant lizard? So kinda like a dinosaur, gotcha."
>>92759474
You'd never have a male superhero showing his mega rod to little brown girls. Fucking double standards.
>>92750708
>See thread
>Immediately think of Byrne
Fucking hell /co/, you're getting too predictable.

Stan and Roy Thomas were both lampooned pretty hard in that ish, and both took it in stride.
>>92758906
>Clark Kent isn't his true identity
Yes, it is. He was Clark Kent his whole life. He was only "Superman" after moving to Metropolis.
>>92760904
The rest of that list appears to check out. That's basically the only major error on it.
>>92761679
>you'll never bite Big Barda's ass
Why even live?
