What was the deal with Daisy's design in Quack Pack? It seemed like such a radical departure from her original design.
>>
Most other cartoons play up Daisy's femininity, with the big bow and what-have-you. But Quack Pack went in the opposite direction.
>>
>>92741883
It was better though, they probably wanted to distance her from being "Donald with a Bow".
>>
>>92741883
Because she's hotter with short 90s hair

t. Woolie
>>
>>92741883
To show that she's a stylish 90s woman who don't need no mallard.
>>

I think she appeals to my inner child

Artists were horny.
>>
it's not really that weird, it's just 80s-90s mom hair

It was the 2000s. Everything had to be XTREEMEEEEE. You can tell it even by the intro.

Personally I'm a 2000s kid and I can't wait for my generation to produce the new 2020 cartoons, music, books, movies, tv series, video games.

I like. Maybe they should make this her design now, set her apart from Minnie Mouse.

They went straight back to the bow wearing Daisy as quickly as they could. I don't think they liked this version very much.

>>
>>92744596
non social-media feminism mostly made sense.

It's the "feels before reals" keyboard warriors who ruin everything since they're easily lulled into becoming useful idiots for the few but fucking stupid and malicious feminazis.

Those oldfags who still complain about eternal September were right after all, giving normies access to the world wide web without a crashcourse on not being gullible shitstains ruins it for everybody else.
>>
>>92741883
I always thought it because they wanted to make her look more like a typical journalist.
>>
>>92744689
Daisy barely even had a personality back in the day, she was just Donald's girlfriend. The only girlfriend character that had anything like a personality was Minnie.
>>
When are Daisy and Donald going to have kids of their own?
>>
>>92744811
This.

Radical feminism burn bras.
Logic feminism understands that bras are made to protect their feminine features from the relentless damage that gravity does.

>>
>>92745183
Anon... Donald shoots blanks, that's why he is so short-fused.
>>
>>92745186
Bras are worse over time, regular exercise and keeping a healthy weight is more conducive to healthy breasts
>>
>>92745183
Donald already sees his nephews as his own kids, and Daisy doesn't want the corkscrew

Never actively thought about it, but it'd be a hell of a lot better than the gay incest I've come across.

The Louie muscle fetish aspect I'm on board with, but that's the sort of thing that needs to be paired with heterosexuality more often. All I've seen is one pic by Atariboy.
>>
Slightly off topic but I really wish Disney had kept the little hair tuft Minnie had in 3 musketeers, its cute as hell

Also I like the HoM Daisy design the best

The House of Mouse Daisy was pretty much the polar opposite of Quack Pack's Daisy. It's a good design, though. The smaller bow is a lot better than the massively oversized one she usually wears.

You mean they actually made her look better than a crossdressing Donald Duck? Also gave her a personality where it made sense why Donald stayed with her because they showed genuine affection and support for one another?

How about while sort of generic the triplets actually had personalities instead of being a single character with three bodies?

Quack Pack had it's flaws, but some of it's character directions were a smart move in my opinion.
>>
>>92749323
I thought everybody hated Quack Pack. It was mocked in the 90s for being too edgy compared to earlier shows Disney made, and I never see anybody remember it fondly on /co/. It's sort of lumped together with a bunch of shitty cartoons from that era, like The Mighty Ducks.
>>
>>92749366
I guess edgy wasn't the right word. I'm hungry and tried to post that too quickly. I meant it was trying too hard to be cool.
>>
>>92749366
>>92749408
I think "Xtreme" would be the word in use.

Either way, honestly, I didn't mind Quack Pack after Duck Tales.

Was I pissed it didn't use Duck Tales' world and Scrooge wasn't even mentioned or any of the fun adventures they had gone on? Very.

But I liked seeing the triplets older, Donald fully out of the navy and sporting a Hawaiian shirt to sort of show how he's mostly retired (you know, progress in the passage of time, a thing I'm a sucker for), and the things I mentioned above.

Was it experimental and sort of a desperate grab for the 90's generation?

Yes.

But seeing Disney actually experiment is honestly miraculous in hindsight.
