Yeah, Voltron's alright but it makes me unreasonably upset how it's more popular on the internet solely because it looks like anime/avatar and people like to mix and match the characters or whatever. Trollhunters is so much more ambitious in every aspect.

For shame. I mean it's still a kid-friendly cartoon, but it actually lets more action and violence than the average cartoon gets on TV. It has actual on-screen deaths and for crying out loud. Nothing needlessly bloody, but it's refreshing to see action kids cartoon that doesn't get dodgy about death, killing and war.

My favorite thing about it's that it follows a story arc all the way through on every episode. No filler and no episodic bullcrap thrown in, though the fact it's based on novels kind of helped with that.
