But no moveset for Hammer was ever proven and we only assume he would have played like Grant through process of elimination. Combat was trash, for one. No spacing at all since whip reaches everywhere, QTEs needed to finish bosses, stuff moved stiff and clunky. Game suffered from Brown & Bloom years after that meme ended. Pretended like it had exploration but still railroaded you hard.

It's hard to think of a Sidescrolling Castlevania it's NOT inferior to.
