Basically, the movie was not bad at all and didn't felt like a dumbed down action film, the movie had slow moments and they tried used visuals to tell the stroy in a non lazy way.

not to mention that Hammer was a decent villian and a lot of fun to watch but not because he quips.

the movie is not perfect of course because is the start of Marvel removing character development for their villians because that's ''boring'' to normies and ended up making Favreau leave.

But compared with movies like Iron Man 3, Guardiasn 2, Thor 2, Civil War, Avengers 2... Those make Iron Man 2 seem like a really solid cape film
