Good. Harley's anti-hero push is unstoppable and not really as awful as it's often made out to be. We might as well try to get more Ivy along with it. The more successful this is the better chance we have of getting more of these characters in other media. Lauren stepped down because the show is mostly made in Canada and it was too hard to coordinate with people. She knew this made her creative control tenuous and didn't want to kill herself fighting for a vision she was incapable of fully realizing. Don't forget she started distancing herself after season 1. It was like giving up a baby because you can't take care of it.

If compromising with Hasbro was an issue, she never would have taken on the project. She originally wanted the show to be almost entirely adventure, but Hasbro wanted more slice of life. I'm glad we got the balance we did. Hasbro had no reason to be overly stifling given how successful Lauren was.

I'm excited to see Lauren doing something. She has an instinct for finding and executing high quality work. I'll watch.
