Why would he care about his show's integrity? He ruined it so his Mary-Sue of a waifu can get the spotlight and be a literal plot device.

Besides the four episodes, Season Five seriously feels like a fanfic written by an 11-year-old girl, just think about it.

>offspring of the main antagonist
>tragic backstory because of bad parent figures
>so comically overpowered that she can beat up an entire army barehanded with brute force
>can fight evenly with the main antagonist
>gets extremely absurd superpowers at the near-end of the story for very little work
>has instantly mastered the control of said superpowers and can effortlessly do something as complex as time-travel to a very specific period in time
>has a marriage scene with the main character
>tragedy struck the main female character in the most flamboyant manner for maximum tear-jerking

It's okay to hate the new season, but good God, at least find some actual reasons.

As you can see in the second episode, Aku is terrified and sick of Jack to the extreme of not being able to refer to him in his fortress. Much less watch him. He's too ashamed of his failure at dealing with the Samurai to even spare a look at him.

Nigga aku made it clear after destroying every time portal he'd just stay in his fortress and wait for him to DIIEEEEEE,the only thing that he found out about was that jack was somehow still alive and with a beard,it's hardly a plot hole if it's literally Akus plan

His eyes and ears were to trying to GET to him, but everything kept going wrong. That samurai shmuck broke his phone mid-conversation with Aku, then he got blown up and was just a head, babe. Tho you gotta admit, that crazy cat had mad skills overcoming that and had some pretty groovy ways of finding different modes of transportation when all hope seemed lost right?
