Dick can handle superpowered Snu-SNu as evidenced by his and Starfire's decades of interspecies fucking (I think at one point it was stated that they had had sex in every room in Titans tower). That being said, I would have preferred Powergirl x Dick as Supergirl gives off too much of a younger sister vibe. Karen and Dick are both the 'cool, sexy, older sibling' characters of their groups and it would've been equally fun seeing them go on adventures, help out older/younger heroes as a duo, or just hang out at the beach with the barely-there swimwear superheros always seem to find themselves in.

Pre-Crisis I think Supergirl was a couple years older actually. She was in high school in the 50s and 60s while Dick was still a young teen at best. In the 70s, when she started going to college, he was being billed as the Teen Wonder.

Post-Crisis she was introduced in 2004 at around 16 years old, definitely in Tim Drake's age range. This 16-17 years old range for her seems to have stuck as Tim JUST turned 18 in Rebirth (which is chugging on the 15-in universe-years of continuity since the Silver Age began).

TL;DR she's always been just outside his age. Maybe if they merged her and Power Girl post-Crisis, it would've been alright since they could pretend she was merely a couple years older at best by that point in DC history.
