The Ladybug was a keystone that represented Ashi's natural appreciation for the beauty of the world and the beauty of the world that Jack showed Ashi and Ashi in turn reminded Jack of. Seeing the Ladybug reminded Jack of the beauty of the world that he saved from Aku and that it was all worth it.
