The only reason the episodes that followed were bad was because of pacing and since episodes 1-3 were the start it wasn't really affected by this.

10 was a....I don't know. First 15 mins were 10/10, but once they went back to the past, they destroyed all the characters the past 5 seasons built up and then left out on a sad ending. Jack should have just stayed in the future....or sealed Aku in the sword instead of killing him, thus keeping the future plausible.

And yes, of course the adverts didn't show clean shaven Jack with his sword back. The dilemma that drives most of the show is Jack having lost his sword and lost his way. If the promo shit showed him finding it again that would be dumb.
