The movie's shitty toyline is the reason this got cancelled. Still an awesome show though and the ending is very satisfying.

That's a tough one. Both are good, but very different kinds of good.

I kind of prefer the cartoon's worldbuilding and the stuff they do with Winston and Janine, though. Honestly a reboot movie should have followed the cartoon's example instead of trying to recreate the movie.

Let's not get crazy. The first season was the best as Jay was the kid of the show. Then they shoehorned the worms in as many episodes as they could. When they didn't do that, they shoehorned Frank in the others. Then they switched L's VA in the last season and made her a field agent. The only real highlight are the Alpha episodes and the first season.
