Secret Empire is still getting BTFO not only by regular Superman issues but now regular Batman issues.

Last time SE surpassed Superman on Monday. I hope this time Superman wins for good.
Still, an event shouldn't be struggling like that.
So basically Secret Empire is selling worse than any event in recent Marvel history.
This is digital though isn't it? There is no way Invincible is anywhere near the rest of those books.

Supes was higher than Bats?

Why the fuck is still buying Whore?
>FOURTH best selling
>"It's over! Marvel is dead and finished! Going BANKRUPT! Bendis will suicide imminent! Pat myself on the back for being a DC fanboy!!"
Calm your tits
I can understand trashing on something like America Chavez, but come on

It's in the filename.

Then this literally means nothing. Digital has barely any bearing on sales whatsoever.
I guess you could say that with their poor sales, Marvel is kind of a "Secret Empire".

It has great art and outside of some really shitty issues is not that shit. I think it's mostly because it's one of the few Marvel books that has been going smoothly since Marvel Now! Since Aaron has been the writer since then.

Point is, it shouldn't even be selling this low. Civil War II was much derided and basically set Marvel into their current swirl down the drain as it alienated customers on their entire publishing strategy and set in event fatigue. And even that was topping the lists. The fact that their grand summer event is getting blown out by not only a Batman/Flash crossover, but a regular issue of Superman and a regular issue of Batman should be a huge cause of concern for Marvel.

The digital rankings are a good indicator of what's actually selling to customers, not the issue sales to retailers. We've had lots of retailers say that the digital sales tend to match actual physical sales pretty well. It's a good measuring stick to see what comics are sticking with actual readers and what isn't, which is going to be reflected in sales later as retailers start cutting orders for later issues in a series..

Then I guess Invincible is a top tier selling book and not barely breaking 13k. They've never released sales for digital only lines, but just from seeing certain Image books in the top 10, you can tell it barely means shit.

HOT TAKE: Secret Empire is just as bad as America
>>92514729
Good Superman deserves all its success.
>>92516634
You will trigger some folks with that.
>>92514729
Superman is fucking good. The other is about another American icon being turned into a ''Lol Trump is totally Hitler'' reference. And it's more expensive as well.
>>92514729Filling in for the normal guy
>The Flash #22
>Batman #23
>Superman #23
