How powerful is Trigon in the comics? In that TT cartoon he got beat up by a bunch of kids, which was super unimpressive for alleged Satan.
compare to mordru who required practically the whole league to stop, cartoon trigon looks even more of a case of not living up to the hype.
Trigon is a supreme jobber
he jobs harder than Yamcha

He's powerful but he's a jobber, I can't remember him ever succeeding really.
Villains are almost always more powerful than the heroes in fiction, that way the heroes can overcome the odds and win despite the disadvantage.

>Apparently he takes over whole realities and destroys them over and over again.
>Is repeatedly defeated by the Titans
>Never actually encounters the other magic/demon fighting heroes at all
I'm not even sure of the Spectre eben knows he exists. He seems like the kind of guy that Spectrre, Phantom Stranger, and Dr Fate are around to stop.

There's one of the classic Moore Swamp Thing comics where the Justice League puts Trigon on a level of power similar to The Specter. Specifically those two are cited as basically being the top tiers of power.
Esoteric, I know, but that's always where I get my Trigon powerlevel from.

He's supposed to be a celestial, but I don't think he's ever won a fight.

This was during the height of Wolfman Titans back when he could unilaterally declare the Titans were the Old Golds from the 4th World Mythos.
Pic related is more powerfull
I know Demons have all these rules and mystic prophecies and shit but if he's that easy to take down then how the hell did he rule over a universe for so long?

it was a small universe
