Did I miss something? Why does Alfred have his hand back in King's run? Are we supposed to assume it's some future-tech, or was this covered outside of the Batman series?

Right toward then end of Snyder's run, maybe issue 50, it was fixed.
>Ah, you see, Batman was so prepared he designed an antidote to hand choppings.
1: What issue was this?
2: how is someone as scrawny as The Joker so durable and strong enough to not just outright die from a few of Nathan's punches?

1. Batman #39, Snyder's run. Although I still don't get why Joker's face was scarred when he gets to the batcave.
2. Chemical shit, son

Plot armor as thick as a planet's crust. Thick enough to make him immune to the Martian Manhunter's telepathy and even the Spectre's wrath.
Reminds of the time Morlun broke Mary-Jane's wrist.
>caring about what happens in capeshit

The batcaves defenses activated but still swam through it supposably a flame thrower hit him right in the side of the face when he surfaced but completely ignored it

.... Alfred doesn't recognize his own hand?

Pretty sure Bruce is fucking with him.

Yeah, by playing on the whole "always prepared" meme.
