Sawano's and Iwasaki's (JoJo BT, TTGL) real problem. They are really bad at variety.

It's not like anime has very much outstanding music either. It's just a tiny handful of popular composers/groups who get put on all the really hyped productions. A great example is what you posted. Sawano is one of the only really big composers of the last decade which why anyone trying to put together a hyped up production will try to get either him, or Kajiura or Iwasaki.
