Is American Dad on TBS much better than when it was on FOX?
Its only been a few seasons but the TBS version has produced so many GOAT episodes
The 200th episode is possibly its magnum opus

It has its highs and lows. They certainly have more creative freedom since there are norms they need to stick to. It can be totally outlandish and original in plot.

The TBS episodes are mostly on-point, but I still think the best seasons were 7-8ish.

No more "Steve and the gang want to lose their virginity" and "Stan is a stubborn mule who refuses to change" episodes, which was becoming formulaic.

The fact that everyone has embraced insanity while still managing to hold on to their personalities has really helped I think. Stan can still indulge in crazy bullshit while remaining believably stubborn, stern, and competently dangerous when the plot calls for it.

I think we can all agree that American Dad is better than Family guy.
Also, recently realised Lewis is the Joker from The Batman

That should go without saying. When I catch Family Guy, the dialogue is abysmal (peeta, wat da hell?), exposition is somehow funny, and the shock value has no value anymore. Other Macfarlane shows follow a decent cartoony sitcom, but Family Guy is like a trollfic throwing memes against the wall and seeing what sticks. At best, it's TBS American Dad wackiness.
