Even after he saw that Superman could live a fairly normal live on earth he never even considered that his people could live peacefully among humans, use their power to do good, maybe find a nice human girl to continue their bloodline with... rather he went full alien invader and tried to start a human genocide.

I mean, yeah, sure it would have been hard for them to adapt but it would have been preferable to wiping out an emtire species and colonizing their planet.

Or he could have gone for Venus which is almost identical to earth, with a hot core, able to maintain an atmosphere.
They'd just need to deal with the acidic atmosphere, something the world engine should be able to do easily.

It's a perspective thing. Superman from the point of view of Zod was doing the same thing Zod was trying to do, genocide a species so the other one can live. I would say Krypton was already dead and Clark just eliminated the last hope the race had (which wasn't much). Zod instead wanted to destroy everything to rebuild Krypton.

I guess you could say both were wrong, but Zod planned to kill more than what Clark did.


Snyder brought to us this complex scenery. Our hero must chose between his people or the rest of the world, he betrays his race what his dad expected (the bridge between two species) so the earth could live. MoS is a complex movie, so is BvS with the death of "superman". In JL we are going to see the real Superman born.
