Aquamarine is GOAT gem design. Topaz is shit tho. Essentially Jasper with down's syndrome.

If John K is our bar of measurement then fucking anything would trigger.

Gravity Falls would piss him off for having mismatching elements (Big googly eyes, pin point dot pupils, rubber hose limbs, stylized bodies).
He would hate Steven Universe for having exaggerated proportions in all the wrong places that makes it look like a bunch of "wannabe cartoon designers".
He'd tear Wander Over Yonder apart and say it was a cartoon trying to mimic a cartoon while just throwing random shit at the wall trying to capture the spirit of UPA and failing.
He would bitch about Star Vs. and call it Canadian Toon shit while probably saying something about the eyes trying to mimic anime.
Gumball would be all style and no substance, some old man who wanted to get into animation but rather than understand the intricacies, just pooled together a collage of styles in hopes that would make up for the lack of good slapstick.
We Bare Bears would be called bland. It doesn't take chances like it's aimed for preschoolers who are learning their circles and squares.
Mighty Magiswords = Fake cartoon by someone who disregards cartoon anatomy in favor of just skewing shapes and excuses mistakes as "my style".
I can go on and on with made-up bullshit that he'd probably say just basing on how much he tore apart everything from Samurai Jack to Iron Giant.

I mean the fact that he praised Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs but then said it was still a 0/5 movie and had awful wannabe UPA designs, I don't think anything can please the fucking guy.

He's an egomaniac who forever prides himself and his studio Spumco as being the saving grace of animation in the beginning of the 90's and is upset that his studio went under and everyone forgot about him while shows like Spongebob are mega popular and rake in the cash while capitalizing on cartoon lessons he taught artists that originally worked on it.

He also had a very bad experience when entering the industry because he started around the 80's.

At first, when I saw the screenshots of her, I didn't really care for her. However, after watching her in action in the episodes, my opinion changed.

Maybe her design would look better with a nose, but I no longer have a problem because she's fun to watch in action. Her general personality, facial expressions, and motion work out for her.
