Also, how can you be OK with Mulan when it's older and she's literally training with Men and even knocks down Shang in sparring with a light kick? She's pretty much shown to be the best from the group of men in the training montage even with pure strength.
There are times she does use her wits though, like in the final fight but even then a lot of it isn't very realistic, like disarming the villain using a paper fan.

Do girls even like fight scenes? The women I know liked the whole adventure bits of Bond the most: locations, traveling, romance, chase scenes, even action pieces. But all of them were lukewarm on the fights. So it's frankly very strange that they are such a huge part of a show that was for everybody, but made especially to appeal to girls.
