A favorite of mine that I thought I should share, grab your seat, get your snacks, tune in for a reading of the Unknown Soldier.

>>92192252
This is a great series and more people really need to read it. This creative team did something really remarkable with this book, but unfortunately, just like with this thread, nobody bothers to check out their stuff.
Dysart was such a great new voice and he was a big part why I checked out the Valiant relaunch when tbat came around. Maybe it's because he never did a run on popular DC/Marvel character but you could say the same for a lot of people in the industry.
At least Ponticelli did stuff for the mainline like Frankenstein and Dial H but he never took off in a big way like he really should have.
You're doing God's work storytimer, keep it up.

Thanks anon. I bought the first volume years ago, but never kept up on it. Too busy with finals right now, but I'll look forward to going back through when I finish those up.

>>92193255
Dysart just doesn't write many stuff at once so that means his name makes the news fewer times/year than others. Ponticelli is cool but not amazing(he's better than 75% of the Rebirth artists though).
It's too bad Dysart is stuck doing valiantshit.
>>92203435
Ponticelli needs to tighten up a bit for sure, but I think he does wonders if he's put on the right books. Frankenstein was the perfect book for him
>>92203485
I don't know about perfect but I really really liked the first 3-4 issues. He got a bit sloppy after that. Too bad the writing in that sucked.
>>92203147
bumping for you. Thank for storytiming this series. I read it as it was being published, and loved it. It's such a shame it met the end it did, cancelled along with a number of other Vertigo titles at the time, but I'm glad Dysart was able to give it a proper ending as well.
Really underrated series that more people should check out.
>>92192252
