If you want it to be dark, have Ron get killed on the mission, she feels it's her fault, and Kim's sleeping around is an attempt at a coping mechanism of sorts to try and be happy again.

If you want it to be funnier, she does this because Ron gets stolen from her by Bonnie, and so this is her trying out revenge because they still work together and she wants to make her jealous. Make sure that Bonnie is extra paranoid because everyone flirts with Ron and now she's the one being scared that he'll be stolen by someone. One season inevitably ends with Ron and Kim having angry sex.
