SO MANY QUESTIONS
>>92078183
The script sounds terrible.
You don't need to 'deconstruct' Winnie the Pooh.
Because having live action versions of his old toys show up won't be Nightmare Fuel.
>>92078183
Hm... where have we had that same Hook for a movie before?
>>92078183
>the climax of the film is Chris Robin and the gang teaming up to play baseball against some asshole kids
>Tigger is pitcher but gets injured bouncing
>Christopher Robin replaces him

Toy Story 3?
>>92078183
This seems really distasteful to me. Christopher Robin was a real person whose father based these stories upon his son, and the son grew up to hate this stuff, especially once Disney bought the rights to it and he had to see this cartoon version of himself everywhere which he got no control over and no money from.
I know the real guy is dead now so I guess there's no harm in it per se, but now taking this a step further and doing an adult version of him in these movies feels... ghoulish, I guess?

>>92078702
b-but the money, anon!
>>92078183
I read the books.
I have never touched the bland Disney version, neither as film nor comics.
My Pooh experiences are untouched by the unsubtle yank version. Envy me.

The 60s/70s stuff is god tier though

>>92078776
I love Soviet Pooh.
>>92078763
It's embarrasingly aged and superficial.
Man, read the ruddy books.

>Baseball
>Adult Robin
Are you ready?
>>92078455
The difference is that Robin Williams had enough charisma to make the premise work, Ewan McGregor doesn't.
>>92078818
such a pleb
>>92079973
That movie was shite, regardless.
Not as shit as the version with Smells Like Teen Spirit, though. It had a soul, no point, but a soul.
>>92078183
The fact that Disney is more then willing to completely desecrate pure childhood innocence out of pure greed just depresses the shit out of me. The ONE ip Disney has that has been consistently good throughout the years, untouched by the gritty stupidity of Hollywood, is now going to suffer through this bullshit too. What the hell did I do to deserve this.

>"as the version with Smells Like Teen Spirit"
>This has to be bullshit there's no way

WHAT THE FUCK
>>92080651
Yes. It went quietly like all the real stinkers.
>>92078436
HOLY SHIT
I thought I was the only one who was afraid of this when I was younger. Pic and video related, I had nightmares as a kid of Pooh and friends climbing into my bedroom through the window and murdering me.

>>92080927
so you could say it smelled just like teen spirit?
>>92081048
Oh god I completely blocked this from.my memory
Why did you have to remond me of this horrible adaptation to Pooh
>>92081048
>occasionally Pooh would look directly into the camera and talk to the audience
Why the fuck are you dragging me back into my childhood nightmares, anon?
>>92078648
It was a joke, anon.

>Just grin and bear it, Ewan. Just grin and bear it.
>>92078736
>>92078799
Are you fucking listening to yourself, dude?
OF all the stupid shit to get worked up about, you choose to be a goddamn Winnie the Pooh elitist.
