Hope seems to embody both its literal meaning and certain holy powers. Eridan wields powerful attacks which seem to be based on so-called 'wwhite science'. His title, the Prince of Hope denotes both destroying hope itself, as he did by destroying the matriorb, and destruction through hope, which it is possible his white science actually was, especially since they were blasts of powerful white light described as "holy" and "sacred" by Kanaya, as well as Terezi's observation that the light smells "hopeful". Supporting the purported connection of white science and Hope powers is Doc Scratch's line that implies through the angels Eridan learned to "destroy hope with their light". Jake, the Page of Hope, has emitted a huge aura of white energy. The Prospitians also considered him to be providing them with literal hope, so Hope is, at least, literal if not figurative.

An alternative theory is that Hope is the power of belief. For example, Eridan believes in the power of science, which would explain how a mundanely alchemized wand that he thinks is science-powered could be immensely more powerful than the actual "god-weapon", Ahab's Crosshairs. In a conversation with Jake states that he thinks Hope is all about believing in stuff and that if you believe in something hard enough it just may come true. Jake also states that friendship is a HUGE key to being good at hope.

There's no cemented fact on what it does, or even solid proof of what it does. But here's some ideas on what it could do.

The Blood aspect most likely means relationships, including friendship and bonds of allegiance. Common theories include affinity, affection and unity in general, such as the word is used in "blood brothers". Karkat, the Knight of Blood, had a reputation among his friends for sympathy.

Additional evidence for affection is its use in the form of moirallegiance with Gamzee in order to protect the other surviving trolls. Karkat's obtainment of cahoots with his session's Jack Noir may also be a form of this. Another example of this might have been after Karkat defeated Clover, Clover had his eyes flash with a star, a heart, and a horseshoe, (three Charms) hinting at having some sort of feelings for Karkat in response to that, although our knowledge of leprechaun romance is limited. It should also be noted that Karkat was able to unite the trolls despite their differences (including blood color) in order to reach their common goal. Karkat has also stated that LEADERSHIP IS IN [HIS] BLOOD. That may also suggest that the Blood aspect involves unity of some sort.

Jack's bloodied hand is very similar to the symbol of the Blood aspect. Karkat believed that Blood stood for fighting and having a warrior spirit. However, he admitted that this is only a guess, and he has no idea if that is actually what his aspect means, saying he later realized there's probably much more to it.

Interactivity will not make your story popular, but Homestuck and many other works (Nanquest comes to mind) show it's definitely viable. You'll need to be selective with suggestions if you want something good, though. Trying to appeal to the fanbase too much is part of what turned Homestuck into an entirely different comic.

This is something I have absolutely no confidence in answering not just because of how all over the place is, but because of the damned angels. Not only are they a living sentient creature, they were also the denizen of a planet and the manifest with the strongest evidence of being true since we saw them being literally created from Hope powers. The final confrontation takes place within the dreambubbles and involves an army of ghosts fighting Lord English, who has the power to kill them permanently for some reason. It also involved the ghost of a doomed timeline Calliope, who shows up near the end of the comic to singlehandedly destroy the Green Sun on her own, with no outside help, because apparently that's something she can just do.

I wouldn't have a problem with dreambubbles if they just preserved a person's consciousness. It would be nice and poetic if dead and doomed characters could still exist as a remnant of themselves, able to dwell in their own little world and sometimes talk to the living, but not able to truly influence events on their own. But as the comic went on, there was so much focus on ghosts that they might as well have still been alive. It wouldn't have been too bad if they required some help from the living to get things done, but the fact that they retain all their powers is what really makes death seem pretty meaningless; it wouldn't be too bad to bring the dead back to life if they at least had to put some effort into actually doing it.

I think it's worth doing, but don't expect anyone to care. Most of Homestuck's fanbase has moved on, and the ones still clinging to the series are willing to overlook any and all amounts of evidence "Because rushed game is forever bad, but a delayed game might eventually be good."
