because of the x-men intro i always thought wolverine had the power to shoot electricity from his claws and wondered why he never used it.
You're thinking of the black Wolverine.
Back when I was younger, I didn't care about Marvel movies that much, but I thought wolverine was in all of the x men movies. So, during X-Men:First Class, when Magneto was a kid, bending the gate bars, I thought it was Wolverine, and the metal from the gates would form claws in his hands

Static Snikt. He had a show on the W.B. for a while.

Jesus christ
When i was younger I thought Wolverine was literally X-Man because his claws could make an X.
Being a reader mainly in the early to mid 90's, there were so many haircuts like pic related, and it was confusing.

I saw this commercial for A Different World (or some similar light-black college-age sitcom) where slightly-animated clips of the characters were dragged vertically across the screen with a cheap rocket effect under their feet, and I thought it was a show about rocket-feet people.
i also thought In Living Color would be about living colors. I mean i was a fucking LITTLE kid when this happened. i remember a similar Dennis the Menace bit where he thought 'with flying colors' was literal and decided to be his usual fucking destructive self in an attempt to see them
