Yes the aspect ratio is correct, clearly the black bars are there however the videos pixles are still being stretched and is not optimal for viewing. Look at that image, shits all blurry as I said thats probably a dvd rip of the old render of season 2(480i or 640x480) which is still being stretched to the full height of the monitor(640 going into 1440 which is 3 times the height of the original video). I also assume the width is 3 times that too to 1920 pixels.

So infact there is stretching going on even if it doesnt ruin the aspect ratio it brings in some shitty blurriness and some block y pixels(cartmans chin).
