Current day comics and cartoons are horrible.
Everything is a bland, soulless piece of pastel colored trash. Being on model between four frames is unthinkable and if you look at the background of OP's image, you can see how no care whatsoever went into it. Look at the handle on the box, for christs sake.

I know this is what kids are used to now, but background artists used to at least take some pride in their work, even if the actual animation was horrendous. Now everything is just depressingly awful.
