I'm not even really sure what could Genndy have done to please you.
If he puts her and doesn't develop or use her at all, you complain she's a waste of space and useless, and that's she is ruining the show.
If he puts her and gives her something to do, you complain she's a Mary Sue who's stealing screentime from Jack.
And not putting her isn't an option because Jack's character arc needs a young and naive character like her.

Oh well I'm sure the 15 threads open right now just to complain about Samurai Jack will tell you what you want to hear with their vague complains using terms they don't understand like "pacing" and "Mary Sue".
