Monkeybone was terrible, but I kind of like it.

Brendan Fraser's career was always destined to collapse given his totally shit taste in projects. He more or less lucked into the Mummy franchise.

The only really bad parts of Monkeybone are the parts where they go back to the waking world with those fart dolls. When they're in the Dream world it's a really cool fantasy movie but the human world stuff makes it seem like they ran out of money and just shot a bunch of broad comedy scenes.

I think the best thing about this film might be the stop-motion.

The monkey pretty much looks like how I can imagine a real life cartoon character would look.
