Did the VA accidentally let it slip? I remember some interviews with the show staff that dropped some hints but the big one was the episode description about her sneaking in to join the Garrison. Even then I recall there were still some holdouts. Some claimed it was fake or wrong or that there was more going on. It's true we didn't know about Matt but why would she have had to sneak in as a boy when we'd seen female cadets in the trailer?

How? Each planet is it's own echosystem. Reaching to outer space is neat but aside of the novelty of getting alien stuff is too much of a hassle to actually put different planets under the same flag. The cost outweighs the benefits unless there's something really valuable, in that sense the purpose of occupying the Balmera sorta make sense.

When I watched the first episode I could practically smell the forced 'diversity' coming off of it. It completely turned me off to it so it was dropped until /co/ convinced me to give it a shot.
