why doesn't comic/cartoon industry tries to use mode cute/handsome males to attract lots of female demographic? is a fact there's lost of woman willing to spend money or even watch certain series.
>>
Cartoons are for manchildren womanchildren are an irregularity and not a separated category
>>
Because most western women prefer actually men to drawn men, same for the men regarding women.

I disagree. There are plenty of female degenerates that are perfectly willing to husband a male cartoon character. Picture related.
The Harry Potter franchise is a classic example, and Voltron is the newest craze.

That is truth but you have to remember the primary audience are children, nerds are a secondary market

children is for both genders.

Then again they'd likely use boybands and fuccbois over beefcake outside of cape.

I've been saying this shit for generations...

People don't think of the money anymore....

They're doing that with the tv shows and movies, though. People on /co/ may dislike a lot of the DCCW stuff, but that stuffs popular with casuals who have cable and watch those shows. The Teen Titans and Young Justice cartoons had mostly female fans who were into shipping, talk fan art of the boys and Robin fanfics (and it's always Dick Grayson, of course). Female audiences ARE involved with these characters, just not with the comics most of the time. The ones who do read comics, at least from my own personal experience, are into stuff like Teen Titans, X-Men, Young Avengers, indie stuff and manga. Usually stuff about sexy teens/young adults filled with angst, dealing with personal issues and all that drama. I worked on an animation project for college at a friends house for like 2 months, and the rest of the group and I saw a room just FILLED with X-Men and Teen Titans trades, single issues, posters, action figures and so on. She was an unhealthily HUGE fan of those teams and characters. And like all true X-Men fans, she had an abused wife syndrome (that's what she called it) where she still buys even the current stuff. She hated the New 52 Teen Titans, though.

Because its readers are closet gays who can only keep up the pretension of heterosexuality by mastrubating to confirmed penisless bodybuilders at regular intervals.

Women already have anime, their yaois, and the handsome actors in Marvel movies
>>
>>91803131
I truly have no idea. It seems like it'd print money.

"Cute/handsome males don't exist in gaijin car--"

They're afraid of being the person who CHANGES something, because change doesn't guarantee profit.

Fucking this. Do people on /co/ not remember how crazy some women went and still are over Evans Cap, how some of them shipped Banner and Tony o how there's a myriad of Thor x Loki fan fics and gay porn based on their movie looks? Don't even get me started on the Bucky and Steve stuff.
>>

Voltron.

One word is all that's needed. Isn't that their entire business model?

I think one thing is things that "print money" do not have the kind of men men think women are going to find attractive. Pretty boys, skinny boys, twinky boys get the majority of that attention. Yes, Shiro qualifies as a pretty boy. Sorry.

Putting aside quality issues and taste look at the response to Edward Cullen or all the Onceler shit. Look at the male characters that get massive frothing hordes of female fans instead of smaller appreciative groups. They are not what people here predict usually.

>wanting to attract a female audience
Why use cute appealing older men for that when you could just make some godawful MUH STRONG TRANSFEMDYKE YASSS SLAY QUEEN special snowflake bandwagon garbage that will just piss off some other small fragment of the intersectionality clique and cause your targeted demographic to devour you while your long time stable of loyal customers gradually drifts away because you keep trying to shove this crap in their face?

Is this a reference to Asexuals hating on Aca's Demon and causing the Kickstarter funds hat s lot of people funded having to be diverted ?
>>

Dude, the 2000s are long gone. Women don't do that shit anymore, Chad has long since moved into the world of the nerds.
>>
>>91807505
>Women don't do that shit anymore,
> implying a trend that started in the 60's AT LEAST is going anywhere

the real issue is that new fangirls have shit taste at best and are terrible casuals at worst.

Putting fujoshits aside for a moment Harley Quinn brings in lots of girlbux. You can do it with female characters.

Look at how much money Disney makes with their fucking princesses. I hate Disney Princesses. But they make money.

Would people be okay with more twinky villain girlbait like a huge focus on Loki? Nerd girls already exist for everything, but if you want to hit the big monies, that means dragging in normies, which means shit you would hate.

That reminds me, what's the stats on the female audience for things like Steven Universe (I know it's ratings are iffy lately, but an initial "success"), Loud House (most of its audience squarely kids, but how many are girl kids), Adventure Time, Gravity Falls, Star vs. the Forces of Evil? I figure most things today do just count on bringing in a girl demographic and don't succeed without it cartoon wise. Are there really hugely successful cartoons anymore that don't have a big female demographic? Successful things /co/ hates like Teen Titans Go! have a big girl demographic and girl superheroes, so do all those Bratz ripoff shit franchises like the DC one with Bratz ripoff female superheroes.

So either rip off Bratz/Disney princesses or throw in twinky villains like Loki and watch normie girl monies roll in, better yet do both, include some twinky one of the the Robins type good guys in the cast too to make stealth normie fujoshits happy too and you should be golden.
