Have we reached the peak of western cartoons with this reboot?

Started off very strong but the last few episodes have been disappointing. Wouldn't call it the peak anymore.

There's always room for improvement. Besides, this isn't the first time someone made a high quality animated mini-series aimed more towards adults than children. Sometimes these things just happen, and we should be grateful when they do.

I'd like to imagine that some day animation will be looked upon more favorably by the general audience, and with that appeal will come higher budgets and more chance for creative freedom. I know it's a pipe dream, but a guy can hope.

ATLA ended with some of the worst Deus Ex Machina in the history of all fiction, Korra followed the lead with its seasons 1 and 2 endings. Samurai Jack still has the remianing episodes to prove that western animation can still be taken seriously.

Why do they draw Jack's head so small this season?

This season started out so strong too. I have no faith in the finale redeeming the last two or three episodes.
