With Archie Sonic all but confirmed for being dead, let's reminisce on where it all began.
Which Sonic cartoon did you like better?
Which was the better overall?
If you could only have one Sonic show, what elements would you mix and match?

I enjoyed the SAT Morning Sonic show the most. Robotnic was darker, and there was more at steak. The other one was just a poorly animated silly fun rid.

Stupid phoneposter.

Jim Cummings was great in both roles, and Urkel was awful in both roles. But at least the SatAM cartoon had Sally fanservice all over it.
AOSTH was far more fun. SATAM pulled off a sinister Robotnik pretty well but almost everything else in that show is pretty weak.
I need to catch up on Boom's season 2. Eggman is god tier in that.

Robotnik was Long John Baldry in the silly one.

>Jim Cummings was great in both roles
Cummings only played Robotnik in SatAM. In Adventures it was Long John Baldry.

Oddly enough, Cummings DID play Adventures Robotnik in the pilot.

SATAM by far. I'm glad the artists were able to do their old-school animation homage for Adventures I guess but as a kid I wanted an actual adventure cartoon, not a gag show, and as an adult I just don't find most of it funny.

Yeah, I still have fond memories of the first season. That episode about Sally's robot doppelgänger scared the hell out of me.
Looking back, it's nothing I woukd watch outside of nostalgic reminiscing, although the painted backgrounds and music are fantastic.
There is a few laught in AoStH, Satam however is dull all the way through.

They're putting out a Sonic story for FCBD, for what that's worth.
