Also, who else thinks Star is MUCH better then Gravity Falls?

I loved that show but was so disappointed they dodnt do more with the characters during the last few episodes.

I actually hate alot of the modern cartoons, but like Sv for the most part. I don't watch it because the voice acting can be mostly good at best, but is utter shit a good amount of the time.

Of we are not speaking about cartoons on adult swim my favorite modern day one is Loud House but it's hard to find decent cartoons. This isn't the 90s or 00s so animation seems to take less skill or just is mind numbingly dumb.

That's because cartoons are inherently seen as strictly for kids in the west. Mainly in America and such. It's also, imo, what's leading to the death of 2d animation.

The names of the spells could be considered such but those are consistent across the show and not really jokes. The actual jokes, whether they hit or not, tended to come from the established situation/characters

The plots in the early first season are the most straightforward thing ever, mostly because many were indeed standard cartoon plots.
