clone wars is better. rebels is cheap (especially in the early years) its not very character driven but you usually get good character moments near the ends of the seasons

Not remotely close, Clone Wars expanded on characters from the prequel and made them feel more dimensional, these guys have never felt more one note.

You can tell Disney had a heavy hand in it, but as it went on the series got better

It has few decent moments, but for most part it's trash.

Here's a quick recap of it.

>Aladdin and the space misfits are going around inconveniencing empires life
>Get an inquisitor... sorry, GRAND inquisitor, sent after themselves
>Inquisitor gets KOd in the last episode

>Season two
>Darth Vader comes in for episodes one and two, wipes the floor with the rebels (rebels don't lose any named characters though)
>The "Hey, remember the clone wars?" season
>Ahsoka, Rex and some other clone wars stuff gets added
>More inquisitors
>Finale brings Maul back, inquisitors get killed off, light saber helicopters, Vader makes his so far last visit and possibly kills Ahsoka, it happens off screen

>Season three
>Ezra gets a haircut and Sabine dyes her hair for the third time
>Lots of shit happening, hinting at stuff like death star
>Thrawn comes in and goes on about muh art and muh keikaku
>Rebels get beat around a bit this season
>Maul makes more appearances and darksaber is found
>Sabine goes to mandalore with it and wants to find a mandalore to hand it over to
>Maul finds Kenobi and they duel, for a whole total of three seconds after which Maul gets dissected
>Last episode sees 2 named deaths, one from empire side, one from rebels side
>Rebels lose their base and some ships and some unnamed mooks

All in all, id say this is the best part of the whole series.

lucas was paying few mill per ep for clone wars. rebels was just a Disney project to make star wars hip with the young kids

If Thrawn doesn't survive this shit show I'll be disappointed.

They brought back Maul and made him such a focus. Thrawn deserves to come back in other SW media
