>at one point this show could pull off effective scenes without needing the characters to cry
Was ian the one that stopped all this obsessive crying before he left?
Apparently.
That was such a good episode
I wish he hadn't gone off to make his own show but OK-KO looks great
It pisses me off a little that an episode this quality exists.

Actually if you look at the original storyboard that Ian did for this episode there was supposed to be crying when Steven realizes he was tricked, so no.
I think Ian leaving really fucked the show over. It seems so SJW now than it was before. Everything's about crying and fusion and other feminist bullshit. In season one and two it was about Steven and his rock moms going on adventures. Now it's a soap opera with an occasional lore episode, one with terrible filler at that.

Such as?
We've had an episode condemning Antifa/Malcom X-style viewpoints, and one about having empathy towards conservatives.

>OK-KO
Goddammit, anon. OK K.O.! is the name.I'm not even gonna mention the tagline.

It really wasn't.
A real leader wouldn't have pretended like that.

That doesn't look like Ian's drawing tho. Thats probably Florido or a revisionist.
