Besides that one point you mentioned, I disagree with that comparison entirely. Dragon Ball super is an eyesore in terms of narrative and visuals.

Yeah, Genndy did forget a few bits here and there. But I don't really care all too much, I'm just enjoying the story he's tailoring right now, really my biggest gripes are with the Guardian but he'll be addressed at some point.
