ITT books you would like to see as a comic or animated series.
Or just /co/ related reading material that isn't comics.
I really want a Dresden Files animated series of a comic with better/more tonally correct artwork.
>want to find good super fiction online
>tvtropes lumps them in with every other heroic or murderous character
>goodreads lumps them in with all the other comics
Also pic related would make a pretty good miniseries

even though it's incredibly flawed and filled with retcons it's well written and one of the only dark fantasy series whose overall tone is hopeful and optimistic

What is this? A tired meme for ants!?

So what's this about?
The Mistborn series by Brandon Sanderson. One of my all time favorites.

The audiobooks are pretty good too.
The HYPERION Epic
It's fucking huge and the fact that it hasn't so much as a radio play or SOMETHING is an abomination of tastes.
I think SyFy is actually coming out with a show though so who knows.

I mean look at this fucker, the Shrike.
Practically a main character and an enigma to all.
Not too bad for an immortal time travelling robot serial killer.

Oh man, searching this thing is a gold mine of inconsistent art.

There's only one confirmed canon art of this thing besides probably the book covers or something. The idea that every time you look at him, he looks similar- but different, is an amazing idea. Like in a show he'd look like the Shrike, just by looking you can tell, but his design is different every time, likely as designed by a different artist according to their own personal interpretation.

Looks like something pulled straight out of the ass of a chaos God or something. Is he the main villian?
/lit/'s favorite SFF series. Gives off a big Samurai Jack vibe in certain parts. I think it would make a great cartoon, with a season for each book.
Edge The Loner
Mack Bolan the Executioner
The Barsoom Series.
Conan the Barbarian.
Captain Future.
