Can any of you lads hook me up with a copy of Clarence Season 2 episode 28?

Can't find it anywhere.

I'd appreciate it
>>
Wikipedia says that was Worm Bin but for some reason Watchcartoononline has it as 26.

>>
So this a Clarence thread?
>>
>>91419029
Sure buddy! Those don't usually last very long, though.
>>
>>91419093
People can argue all they want, but "Pizza Hero" was, without a doubt, a terrible episode.
>>
>>91419688

wait last episode I saw was the valentine's episode have we had more episodes since then?
>>
>>91419688
I agree.

I think they were trying to do some weird surreal fun season finale a la Balance but it just came off as lazy and uninteresting. I feel like the entire episode was referencing something but I'm not quite sure what. This is coming from someone who defends Balance, too.

>>91419688
Agree, can't even recall another episode with so few redeemable aspects
>>
>>91419876
Clarence is at its best when it's just a SoL show with no weird elements.

When it gets surreal, it just comes off as Regular Show lite.
>>
Not gonna bother copy pasting it, but here's the lists of epsiodes organized by writer/story writer that I did last thread

Any favorite writers? least favorite? I'll do another list organizing into board teams

Alright!

Still pretty bummed about this season being the last, though.
>>
>>91420231
My fav episodes are all over the place, I can't really pick
Maybe Mark Banker and Spencer Rothbell, but it's a razorthin difference from other writers' episodes
>>
>>91420412
They need the space for Your New Favorite Show.
>>
And in case anyone missed it, here's a (relatively) new Clarence short: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qv5LwuwjREU

>>91420231
Tony Infante's solid, it makes sense why they late him take over the bulk of S2 - it feels a lot more uniform than S1 as well.

I like Spencer Rothbell's episodes too.

Also, Spencer's blog: https://www.srothbell.com/blog/

He addresses Clarence's cancellation and there's a lot of fun pictures of the staff hanging out. Also, apparently "Clarence Loves Shoopy" was supposed to air a month ago which suggests that CN probably pulled it at the last second. What a shame.
>>
There was a lotta fish hooks people on early clarence (Derek Evanick, Diana Lafyatis, Niki Yang, Ian Wasseluk, Tyler Chen), heck I'd imagine that in an alternate universe not terribly different from our own, Joe Johnston (another writer/boarder for fish hooks, who became a writer/boarder and later director on Steven Universe) would've been on clarence instead

Beat me to it.

I also wanted to share a thoughtful analysis that someone posted in a thread a few days ago:

Not counting miniseries like Over the Garden Wall or Samurai Jack S5, Clarence was the most well made show on CN in a really long time, probably since Ed, Edd n Eddy, which is actually probably the best show to compare it to.

The writing was tight, the humor on point and the world it created extremely in depth and relatable. It was a show very much about being a kid, and it lived up to this premise in ways no other show to my knowledge has.

I think the best thing about Clarence, that most perfectly captures what makes it good, is how grungy, grimy, dirty, shabby and all around scummy the world is. There's garbage everywhere, dirt patches and scuff marks, everything's in various states of wear and tear, the adults are all tired and bored and listless, it's all very gritty but it never feels grim. Despite all the shabbiness, the world is still bright and colorful. Clarence isn't ignorant of all of the trash and grime and listless adults, but he doesn't see these things as ugly or unpleasant. Trash and grime are just a part of the world like anything else, still with potential for fun and imagination. Things are bright and colorful, but not fake and plastic. It's a pleasant, but not idealized version of the world. Gritty, but not grim.

What's more, the show has a wonderful sense of humor. Some episodes that I've watched at least 4 times still make me laugh, and are just non-stop with the jokes. Ed, Edd n Eddy is the only show on CN I can think of that's made me laugh even close to as consistently or as hard as Clarence. The show can swing from simple, down-to-earth, relatable character-driven humor, to more zany stuff with some of the more out-there characters, to downright bizarre and surrealist stuff, that all fits the child-like imaginative tone. It changes it just enough to keep you surprised and on your toes, but still feel consistent.

What is Adventure Time S1-S2, what is Regular Show S1-S2, What is Gumball S1-S2, what is Sym-Bionic Titan

well all those were from 2010-2011 (except for the first two seasons of gumball, which was from 11-13) while clarence premiered in 2014

Also there's money hidden everywhere. This was one of Skyler's model sheet comments and I always liked that for some reason.

animal church as an example of kids seeing the world differently. Page never once tried to make these kids short adults which used to be the norm before Charles Schulz decided children were funniest if they talked and behaved like undersized grownups with depressive disorders.
