"InVINCible" is arguably Kirkmans best. I wouldnt quite place it over TWD. But its worth the movie.

I feel like it has to be. Every great moment from the book is hyper-violent. With the success of R-rated superhero movies like Deadpool and Logan, even the subhuman scum known as Hollywood producers ought to realize it's the only way.

It's a third party comic book movie that's based around a relatively boring and mundane setting with good character writing and decent long term plots/developments.

You can't do that in a 2 hour movie.

Its why Marvel movies don't try and DC movies are fucking shit.

Invincible needs to be a Netflix series. Nothing bigger than 12 episodes and just cover the arc upto Mars or maybe the alternate Marks.

Don't really need to change the dialogue either since it's relatively wordy and the pacing isn't bad till later.

Tulip is an action girl instead of a low level crook, Jesse is Walking Tall when he should be Leaving Las Vegas, and Cass, as a result, feels "off." The dynamics are fucked.

It's clear that it's liberal stoner jews making it, as opposed to an Irish cowboy-feminist/masculinist war-buff. Jesse and Tulip aren't the "two against the world" couple that they were in the comic. Small towns are portrayed with the kind of sneering schadenfreude that I've come to expect from coastal liberals. They made sure to drag a character through the mud before they killed him/her, that way the audience could "enjoy" the violence to the fullest extent without any messy humanizing hang ups. Just.....fuck that show. God damn.
