Yeah prety much this, you've got the mutated highly evolution creature with big jaws, massive size and also hunting in a pack of 3, meanwhile the literal lone wolf fights these massive creatures who by all means have every advantage, but the wolf still fights.

Jack, who despite being old, jaded and tormented still fights 7 individuals who in a way are like him, who have been trained since they were children, although much more harshly, and still still survives against all odds.

Its a visual testament of perseverance and a strong will/resolution against the impossible odds.
