I have several thoughts.

First, this move permanently ruins the New Warriors. The team will forever be associated with Squirrel Girl and she'll be the Harley Quinn of the Suicide Squad in this team. The comics will morph into this goofy TV show version.

Second, the fact that Squirrel Girl is the only character announced shows that the rest of the members are an afterthought. Everyone else will just be punch lines for Squirrel Girl's antics. I wouldn't be shocked if Squirrel Girl saves the day each and every time.

Third, if this show fails, this means no more Squirrel Girl, right? Like, if this show gets canceled in the first season, this means Squirrel Girl will never appear in any other part of the MCU and the demand of her character will fade cause "Who wants to follow a character who doesn't matter to the MCU anymore?"
