I'm actually kind of amazed that both Clone Wars TV shows

I like Clone Wars Anakin, but TCW Anakin was bland and boring.

Hayden was much better than the memes say, and much more interesting than Lanter's generic action man.

Hayden was not good. He might have been better with different writing but most of the confusion from the prequels comes from the audience not understanding Anakin and I am convinced its because the performance could not make them care enough to pay attention to him.

Why? Everything was stacked against him, and Shaak Ti is ONE Jedi. Shaak Ti also wasn't the one who tried to kill him, she tried to capture him alive.

Yeah, hard to believe isn't it but it's true.

It's almost like, when George Lucas is sitting behind the scenes and letting other writers and directors do their own thing it's a really good piece of art.

James Rolf has an interesting opinion on Heydens acting. Basically, he says that the problem is when he opens his mouth to say Lucas's dialoge. Based on a purely on Heydens facial expressions it's a good performance.
