In Thunderbolts, Kobik made it pretty clear that that history is the one that Kobik created. So basically Kobik altered history so that the "Steve was always Hydra" timeline was the original, then at the end of the war the allies used a cosmic cube to create 616. Then she "restored"

This is why Elisa exists in 616. She was created when Kobik altered history, but Kobik made it so the altered history was itself undone via the cosmic cube.

So order of events:

So right now, we're in Marvel-616-2 which is layered ontop of Hydra-616 which is layered ontop of Marvel-616.

Marvel-616 is the "original" before Kobik's tampering, but the current Marvel-616 isn't the original, it's one created by the Allies. So the whole thing is cyclical. In the end, outside of Elisa and Steve, there's no difference and it doesn't really matter. From STEVE'S perspective, everything is fucked, but that's because Kobik restored Hydra Steve's memories from a version of 616 that happened "between" the original and the current one.

Dp's women's gallery are usually made up of women who start out disliking him and eventually realize who he is past the crazy and the ugly, which makes it fairly unique.

From pining over his lolita Siryn to being hated by domino to not being hated to all the other major things involving his character, they're often incidental like satanna, just kind of hang out for a bit and gone.

Duggan's DP distribution was pretty good in Uncanny. If anything, I think his Uncanny has been stronger than his ANADA Deadpool overall, although there are particular issues that still shined bright (The 2099 ones, the second Madcap arc, the recent Hydra Cap issue).

I like that the CWII arc had a neat conversation/epilogue to Hawkeye VS Deadpool.

In the original Dracula's Gauntlet story where she was introduced she was pretty good, but after that her appeal went downhill fast. Joe Kelly in Spider Man/Deadpool writes her pretty entertainingly but otherwise I feel like her story is mostly one which has lasted longer than the list of interesting things you could do with it.

When she was a fish out of water in gauntlet, yeah she was different but otherwise she was never interesting on her own, and her involvement was literally a powerplay against dracula. Her monster design is..eh they should have given her a different race or beast form or something, I just dislike all of it.

I mean she's called a succubus and rogue has probably had more fanservice in her design than her.

I feel like on one hand it isn't the characters fault it was badly designed and written and executed and ultimately setup to fail as a heel.

On other hand I think that may have been the intent all along except they thought they might try to make a character of her own and commandos and stuff and maybe this was their intent all along. I mean trajectory of deadpool's life always seems like he is setup to fail.

The reveal is that Steve thinks that the world he's currently in is fake. In the real world he was always a loyal Hydra agent and Hydra won World War II. He believes that the allies used the Cosmic Cube to rewrite reality so that he was never Hydra and the Allies won WWII. As far he's concerned, when Kobik turned him into a young man, she brought out his "true" self.

What Skull didn't count on was that Steve was loyal to the ideal of Hydra, not to the Skull himself. As such, Steve has been planning to take over Hydra himself all along, and in this issue he succeeds, murdering the Skull and getting everyone in Hydra (Sin, Crossbones, Viper, Zemo, Gorgon, Arnim Zola, Dr. faustus and many more) to pledge loyalty to him. Next month, the event Secret Empire begins where he takes over America.
