The cops and the courts railroad you and send you to prison for as long as possible. Well, that's a pretty shitty opinion and it's one of the reasons cape comics are looked upon as trash. All the best and iconic runs are about writers taking a franchise and revamping it, taking it to newer heights. Miller changed Daredevil, Claremont changed X-Men, Moore changed Swam Thing, Byrne changed Superman, Morrison changed Doom Patrol etc. This "not muhh" mentality is cancerous and limits writers and the potential for new groundbreaking memorable stories.
