I wanna see all five boroughs, a secret identity system with an in-game economy, relationship/friend system, an in-game photography system, and the largest costume collection in any video game to date.

Jesus christ please kill yourself. You are the exact reason the video game industry is collapsing in its infancy. I bet you also want CHOICES and dialogue options. And QTEs.
Anything to avoid designing a real game, right? Why make a game when you can make a life simulator for losers like you.

>>91170526
I came here to post Ultimate Spider-man, but someone beat me to it.
Oh well, make way for best spider-man game (and comic series)
>>91170526
This game was my jam, even the venom parts were actually good and not forced , the only thing I did not like was the races.
>>91172347
Races did bog it down, especially when I was playing this at the same time as Simpsons Hit & Run and Jak 3 which both have a shit ton of races already
But racing Johnny Storm in a Spider-Man game was really the first time I'd experienced a shared universe type setting, and it just made it so enjoyable
Did anyone else completely ignore missions and climb to the top of the Empire state building just to jump off?
>>91172507
Yes, every single person does this in all open world games.
I especially liked doing it in [prototype] and bodyslamming people into the ground from the top of the tallest building, while disguised as a enfeebled old brittle grandma.
>>91170953
Ultimate was good in it's own way, Venom was a ton of fun. Mainly it's a matter of if you like double jumps, or charged jumps. Though SM2 has better grappling. Getting four guys in a web lariat at once and throwing them off a skyscraper was awesome. So was grabbing a guy, swinging to the top of the tallest building, and doing a spinning piledriver for a hundred stories and he somehow lives. No other hero game did BFR as well as SM2. Plus, Black Cat was awesome.
>>91171356
That episode was insane
>>91170000
I think you're forgetting the sinking boats.
>>91175216
The boats were easy compared to the balloons.

O-oh
I could dig QTEs and dialogue choices in a Spider-man game if I could play as the villain and make those choices before I get my ass kicked
>First movie games lets you play as GOBLIN
>Second would pioneer how Spidey games would play
I loved how properly comic universe Web of Shadows was, despite it being a glitch fest at times. I just wish Dimensions combat had some more depth.
>>91179597
I just wish it got a sequel
>>91170109
>Spider-Man game is part dating sim

>>91170413
The suit design in this is horrid gutter trash but that footage looked really solid.
Just as long as I can switch to Symbiote/Big Time/MacFarlane/Scarlet Spider/Bag Man, I'll be happy.
>>91179597
Why was the Spider-Man 3 game so lame? I got it on the PS3 and I remember the goblin being shit to play as, the QTEs being horrible, and glitches out the wazoo.
I still remember the boss fight with Kingpin vividly. For literally 5 times in a row I would kick his ass so hard and juggle him in the air, he'd get stuck in the roof and I had to restart the fight. But that was one of the few good moments.
That, and I remember using Spidey's camera to take an upskirt photo of one of the bosses.

I used to try my damndest to take a bad guy up there so I could throw him off. Due to the swinging-while-holding-a-guy mechanics I'd only ever get to like the secondary top tier of the building, but the mook would still bounce like fifty feet once he hit the ground.
