Let me explain what's going to happen. (I'm just guessing.)
Jack gets his sword back (possibly from the acid pit in the next chapter), He then returns to the mysterious island and beats the shit out of the Guardian; when he's about to enter the portal Aku appears and (obviously) Jacks fights him. But Jack can't handle this shit anymore so he drags Aku along him inside the portal. Once back in the past "Future" Aku merges with "past" Aku and he dies a horrible multidimensional death, while Jack ages instantly and dies in his father's arms.

Jack would eventually come across Aku's primordial form as a non-sentient, reactionary lake of black goo and he'd delete him from existence right then and there. I doubt he'd even manage to gain enough sentience to adequately combat him while Jack's destroying his said black life essence in the process.

Sending him back to the time where he had just gained his sentience (thanks to the poison arrow from Jack's father) wouldn't work either, because he'd have to deal with TWO extremely skilled samurai wielding TWO magical katanas. Not to mention, they're father and son, so they'd have an innate desire to protect each other while being far more synchronized and team-oriented with their combat skills. It's a double-whammy.

So it was actually smarter for Aku to throw Jack into the distant future. Aku was able to expand his rule onto other planets and galaxies, and in turn gather millions of forces, assassins, armies, demons, droids, monsters, bounty hunters and so on to hunt him down. So Jack has far more to worry about than just Aku. Not only that, but Jack loses his family, his people, and his cultures from the old world in the process - forcing him to start out with nothing.

Rather, the better questions to ask are:

>Why didn't Aku just fling the sword into the distant future or the distant past? If he had separated the sword from Jack, then Jack wouldn't have a chance of defeating him and it'd be game over right then and there for the first episode.

It's possible that Aku may not be the only surviving fragment of the essential primordial evil. For all we know, there could be hundreds of fragments who managed to evolve into their own evil entities that are ruling over their own corners in the universe. Maybe this is a process that hundreds of worthy mortals have to go through to ascend into divine entities.

I mean it's pretty telling that we've never had a stand-in for an east-asian deity in SJ's lore and universe until season 5 with the horseman being a possibility. All we've had are east-asian demons and evil spirits and the like, such as Aku or the dragon demon from that one haunted house episode. But no actual benevolent gods or spirits.

This is honestly one of the dumber questions.

Even if somehow Jack didn't see it coming a second time any further time shenanigans would work against Aku now that Jack knows of the possibility at all.

The first time he only even made amateur mistakes because he was a fish out of water in the future.

Sending him back any amount of time would give him an opportunity to either prevent something or retry something with knowledge of how to better succeed.

Sending him forward is just as troublesome since Aku had no idea where Jack would end up the first time, and only learned of Jack's existence and presence in the present because Jack was not subtle about his intentions around listening ears.

Jack has learned to be more discreet when necessary if he can, so Aku would spend however long based on however far he sent Jack scouring every inch of the planet every day to find Jack while Jack will just pop up whenever, wherever, go into hiding either find a portal or Aku like he did in Jack and the Gangsters and do what he should have done before.

Aku's most recent play of simply destroying any further means of time shenanigans and waiting for Jack to die of age or injury has been his smartest even though it didn't pay off due to time shenanigans.
