I know Nickelodeon made it a big deal, but did anyone else really not like "The Sponge who Could Fly" AKA the Lost Episode?

Most don't like it. I am one of the few who do like it.
I liked this more

I don't know about you but I liked it as a kid, I loved the songs and they got stuck in my head. Unlike the songs in the post-movie episodes which are generally terrible and out-of-tune

definitely not worth the "hype" Nick gave it, and what should've been a fun episode ended up appearing like it was trying too hard.
Still, I liked some of the songs, even if the lyrics were trash. All You Need is Friendship is a surprisingly good ballad, for example.

It was horrible. Hyped up like crazy and fell very flat

The most memorable thing about this for me is that someone at my school started a rumor that a retarded kid drowned in the ocean looking for the lost episode.

I like the episode and I like the patchy segment it was attached to
It has the best version of Old Man Jenkins, so it's alright to me
I liked it, it had it's funny moments, but I can't say it was worth all the hype.

I thought it was cool, I really liked it 2bh

was this episode really Lost?
>>91021984
fun fact: while the episode proper was written/boarded by Kent Osborne and Paul Tibbit (who also did the other two specials), the Patchy the Pirate stuff was written/boarded by Jay Lender and Sam Henderson (who did episodes such as Just One Bite, Clams, and Plankton's Army) and the walk cycles >>91022821 were boarded by Mark O'Hare
